28 Oct 2025Staffordshire County Council's Corporate Overview and Scrutiny Committee (28 October 2025) was told, in discussion of the Q2 2025/26 Integrated Performance Report, that a new flag-flying protocol restricts which flags the council flies to a named list — the Staffordshire County Banner, the Historic Staffordshire County Flag, the Union Flag and the Armed Forces Day Flag (no Pride/rainbow flag on the list) — and the Committee resolved to have the protocol and the reasons for the County Council banner's use reported back to it.
